Today is free premium membership day.  I've missed premium membership so much.  Ah,  my pretty journals how I've missed you.   

Apparently, there's also a contest to get free membership for a year.  I'd like to win, but I have no idea what to say for an entry.  So I guess I'll just spread the word here on my journal (I assume someone reads it) and post on my tumblr and other blogs about it.

Yesterday was all about Sopa and Pipa, so I did some link sharing [again] and I've been looking a lot into the laws that have been going through under our noses.  It's pretty sick.

But, in the time that I've been gone, I've been doing a lot of planning for my online store which is now up.  It's a new one which is separate from Dark Innocence on etsy and is called Sugar Pop Dreams after my Sugar Pop Dreamland art series which I'm also working on.

Other than that, job searching has taken up a bit of time.  It's really frustrating, but I'm still looking. It's hard to believe that I graduated 8 months ago and haven't found anything yet.  Especially when you factor in that I've been looking for over a year.  U_U   Toss in health issues that I need to take care of and it goes from frustrating to stressful.

So if I'm quiet on dA, it's because of that.  Obviously, I'm open for commissions, but I don't really tend to get very many in spite of all the compliments on my work.  And I hold sales and stuff, but after a while, it just feels like I'm begging for money which I dislike.  So I'm looking into other venues where I can earn money from my art while waiting on a job to e-mail me back about something with more steady pay.

But for the time being, my store is loaded with everything I could afford to make back in September.
